F9 Or F9 Jet Express To BIL

Does anyone think that this service could happen? F9 served BIL for a couple years in the mid 90s, and the original Frontier served BIL for nearly 30 years. Does anyone see this service starting with the new QX jet express or F9 mainline?

I'm a little bit surprised that Frontier Jet Express hasn't started that service already - but there have been problems with Mesa.

I would doubt mainline service, because there's a list of bigger cities ahead, but given that Jet Express will have nine planes in the system by mid year I would guess that BIL might well see service to DEN.

It's only a guess, I have no knowledge of it, but it makes sense.

Mariner- I would guess Jet Express too, with QX. QX already flies to BIL from SEA and PDX, so the station is already set up, and that cost wouldnt need to to be added. I really think that a 1 or 2 daily service would work well.

If the station is already set up for Horizon, then yes, that adds considerably to the potential for BIL.

Two things I don't know: (i) how much traffic there is between BIL and DEN?

I guess there's some because, as you say, Frontier, in both it's forms has served it before.

(ii) what is the most popular "bigger city" for oflks who live in BIL?

SEA? PDX? SLC? Or even RNO?

It occurs to me that I know very little about Billings, or Montana. I might do a bit of research.

cheers

BIL is already served by both United and Big Sky on the DEN route. For United they have used anything from the 757 to the A320 to the 737 to CRJ-200s, so I'm guessing its pretty well served.
