OK, let me explain. There are many pilots on this board. The question does not refer to a type of plane, rather a specific one. For example, I have flown 5 DIFFERENT Cessna 172's, but I love flying N90558.
Pilots, do you have a specific airplane you prefer to fly over another and why?

No contest- C172 N4733D; a tired, sorta ragged 172, faded white and brown paint, nice radios, and no way was that over-timed O-320 putting out 160 horses. But she was sweet, honest, flew straight and true, trimmed out nicely, and (most importantly) was the bird in which (1) I soloed; and (2) I passed my PP checkride. Just something emotionally appealing about that.
I understand she has a new engine and a shiny wax job; good, it's well-deserved.
They're all magic carpets, though. Emphasis on *magic*.
