Just received KLMs newsletter...
"Pepsi Blue on KLM
Throughout the month of December, KLM will be offering our passengers a special soft drink, Pepsi Blue, in a cooperative effort with Pepsi-Cola. On all KLM flights from Amsterdam, the blue cola is available in specially-designed Pepsi cans."
It sounds fun, I would like to have special made Pepsi too

I flew KLM from AMS to OTP last sunday and I asked for a Coke : The F/A asked me if it was all right to serve me a blue pepsi. I accepted and it tasted like, Pepsi. I was thinking, if it tastes the same, why go through the trouble of making it blue ?
Blue is my favourite colour so no sweat but flying KLM gives you an overdose of Blue more than ever...
Lufthansa, whenever you ask for a Diet Coke, gives you the lemon version, asking if it is ok to serve you the lemon version, because that's what they have.
The passenger deserves to be protected from this new kind of faux-advertising...

Blue Pepsi, Lemon-Lime Pepsi and now standard Pepsi, along with the complete range of sweetened carbonated waters, were found to contain high levels of pesticide chemicals, in India. Both Pepsi & Coke went to court to sue the labs which published these results, but withdrew their cases.

I just flew AMS-IAH on KLM in Business World and was offered this Pepsi stuff. Strange that's the only (sort of) coke they serve. I don't want to be part of a commercial exercise!
Any KLM employees out there?? I will not go that far to say no more KLM, but my image of KLM got a dent.

KLM agent here. KL delivered a few cases of Pepsi Blue to AUA for KL ground crew here. I personally hate that stuff. It tastes awful. I gave my six pack (now 5 pack) away to my colleagues at AA who occupy the office next to us. Good riddance.

Pepsi blue is catered on flights out of AMS only in december this year. The regular Pepsi is catered as well so don't understand what's the problem. I'm a flight attendant for KLM and so far only got nice reactions. People who don't like it just drink the regular stuff. As for myself, prefer Coke!
: mmm, in that case they forgot to bring along the regular stuff, can happen... Mdutch: KLM does not have Coca Cola??
: I remember it being around summer 2002, haven't seen it for a long while. IMO, its bad. It tastes like carbonated blueberry cool aid.
: Thos blue potatoe chips on jetBlue are about the most rancid tasting things, at least Pepsi Blue tasts good.
