Coke is supposed to be the official drink of Skyteam, but I'm hearing different from the above posts. I was just watching CNBC, and there was and one of the shows is sponsored by "Skyteam and Coke". It showed an ad with the Skyteam logo next to the Coke one. Didn't know that even place ads together!

I have several travel agent friends who used to work the Coca Cola account here in Atlanta. Coke employees were not allowed to travel on airlines that served anything other than Coke products. If the Coke-serving airlines were sold out or if there was none in that market the traveler was required to get written approval from a manager to take that carrier. The agents working the account, though not Coke employees, could be fired on the spot if they brought a Pepsi in their lunch bags! Supposedly, Coke employees could be fired if Pepsi products were found in their homes. They don't call 'em cola wars for nothing!
I work for Southwest, but the views expressed are my own and do not necessarily represent those of Southwest.

Interesting note - NW stocks both Coke and Pepsi products for trans-pacific flights. Domestic and Europe serve Pepsi, D.Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Ginger Ale, Mountain Dew (domestic) and diet Sierra Mist.
And really, you wouldn't believe the look of utter disgust when a passenger asks for Coke and we say, we have Pepsi...I think some are ready to cry. Who knew soda was such a passionate subject. Drink water.

AA recently took Dr Pepper off their in-flight menus (which was strange to start with, considering Dallas is Dr Pepper's HQ), but they quickly brought it back. Probably lots of FFs calling up AA to wonder what the hell was going on!
"Lose" is not spelled with two o's!!!!
: It annoys me that UAL has Pepsi. I'm a Coke drinker but fly UAL most often. I figure it was just so the cans would match the paint job. Grr...
: As a shareholder of both Coke and UA (at that time anyway), I was pretty disgusted to see that they were switching from Coke to Pepsi. But it is war,
: LH serves Coke and Sprite, LH City Line also serves Fanta. Patrick
: Air France WAS 100% Pepsi... until creating SkyTeam with ATL based Delta Airlines... Then AF turned , unfortunuatly, 100% Coke
: LOT Polish Airlines serves Pepsi. That may have changed now as they are a member of Star Alliance. EmiratesA345
: SAA: Coke! Pepsi tried to launch in South Africa a few years ago, but they bombed sadly...not surprising when you consider how rubbish it tastes compa
