With SAS it is now possible to check in by using a voice activated. They will do the same procedure as when check in manually except it is done on the phone. Another innovative tool taken in use by SAS for cost-cutting. They should not be far from turn-around. The chances of SAS being consumed by Lufthansa is decreasing! SAS was not first with this. American had the program up and running before 9/11. It was only for top tier frequent fliers. It was dropped due to low user rates, and now internet checkin.
