Before I flew LGW-CLT-MCO-PHL-LGW on US last month, I signed up for Dividend Miles - just because I thought I'm flying quite a long way - I might as well try and get something from it!

In total I racked up almost 15,000 miles, as did my wife (including 5000 miles each bonus for being our first transatlantic sector with them).

Hardly a lot of miles, (and we have nowhere near as many as we need for a free sector!!) but can we use them for things other than flying? (e.g. hotels etc)?

The website doesn't seem very clear - I think we can upgrade on a flight with them, but can we redeem miles on Lufthansa shorthaul flights now they are a partner too?

Confused!!
