Okay there have been topics about the worst airline's you've flown, well I wanna know the best airlines you have flown. My all time fav's are CO and NW.

My favorite? JAL. They've been the only airline to give me an upgrade to first class! (GRU-JFK on a 747-400, Christmas 2000). Plus, the service was magnificent and the FA didn't even flinch when I asked for the aircraft tail number (which has since been lost in the sands of time)

JetBlue is the best within the US. Again, by a broad margin.
KLM, Swiss, Malaysian, Thai and Air Asia are quite good as well.
Bottom of the barrel? Aer Lingus, Biman, Indian Airlines, British Airways.

Why? When I was young I was flying with my Mum and Dad to Fiji one of the flight attendents asked me if I would like to visit the Pilot. While I was heading up to the Cockpit the flight attendent was explaning to me the history of the 747-200 that I was flying on. On every Domestic flight I have been on the flight attendents were never rude, always had a smile on their faces.

My favorite airline is Virgin Atlantic. I have always enjoyed the way that this airline caters to the younger set, yet still retains the style and luxury of their more conservative trans Atlantic rivals. I don't know if anyone has ever seen their animated flight safety video - if you have, this is exactly what I am getting at. Now Richard Branson and his antics I am taking with a grain of salt. Overall I have immensely enjoyed flying with them and am greatly looking forward to my upcoming LHR-JFK leg on their A340-600.

KLM is not the best airline by any stretch of the imagination! i flew to Bonaire with them- 9 hours of no service, crap food when it arrived, and no legroom.
