Delta has flip flopped it's color scheme over the years, and Im just curious to see who likes which one the best? My opinion is the Widget was nice, the Interim scheme was horrible, and now the Wavy Gravy is very classy. The Wavy Gravy has my vote. What do you think?

Right, but you must admit that if we had both wavy gravy and widget (no interm) it would be nice and what about a wavy gravy tail and widget plane?

Seriously, I like the tail of the "wavy gravy" scheme, find the "Deltaflot" scheme abhorrent, and have a special place in my heart for the Widget because the first airplane I flew on was a DL MD-88 in the Widget scheme.

I'll put in a vote for the Interim scheme- it's not a pure 'Eurowhite' like the Wavy Gravy, and also softens the hard lines and overall dark look of the Widget while retaining a form of the Widget which is a very recognisable corporate logo.

The wavy gravy is nice, but on a/c such as the 777, there just seems to be too much white.

The Widget will always be classic to me, but I'm finally getting used to the "wavy gravy". I would really love to see a Retro DL in the original livery the first DC-8 was delivered in or first CV 880.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

A true classic. I used to love starring at Delta planes when I visited TPA as a kid.

Interim fusulage with the wavy gravy tail. The tail on the new colors has grown on me, but the fusulage is still BORING. Maybe Mikephotos can scare us up a 737 in the above mentioned scheme?  Big grin

Still I think Delta Widget colors are the best.

Delta has missed the boat on color schemes. The widget looked horribly outdated when it began to be phased out in 1997--it should have been retired years before. The interim scheme was really a minor variation of the widget--it looked very un-original and broke no new ground at all stylewise. The wavy gravy doesn't look bad, but a mostly white fuselage is boring and the wavy gravy lacks personality and character.

The wavy tail would look better if they added some kind of cheatline. But why they couldn't've just updated the widget scheme to look a little more modern (like a new font for the D E L T A)?
