Good evening everyone...

We are just considering the idea of taking a holiday in may of 2004 that could put us on Air Canada from YVR to HNL. I know at one point they used the 767-300ER on this route, but lately it seems they have been using the A340-300. I was just wondering if anyone here happens to know if in May they will be using the 763 or the A343, or possibly another fleet type. I tried a few sites but some say 763 and say A340, so my guess is they might not have it in the computer yet and some sites are going by now and some by that time last year.

I suppose i could ask our friend Brian in YVR, he's amazing when it comes to knowing this sort of stuff, but i thought it would be easier (and probably cheeper too) to ask you lot first.

Thanks alot for yer time

I would think the 343, as it continues on to SYD. A 744 was on this route a couple years back I believe.

In May it will all-767s. AC 33, which continues to Sydney, will be a 767-300ER. AC 41, which operates only on Saturdays and Sundays, will be a 767-200.

Air Canada usually uses a 763 to Sydney during the winter.

I hope its a 767 (-200 or -300 dont really matter that)... And we may go UA via somewhere else in the USA which from the looks of it would be a 763 or a 772. The 777 sounds fun.

During the winter, YVR-SYD is an A340, summer it goes to a 763. By the time you go it should be switched to a 763.
