Guys,

I'm not going to take the time to say my love for MD products... Douglas built their planes to last... DC-8 and 9 are solid proof... I love and regualry fly on NW's dc-9s and honestly unless your an airline buff or your stuck in the last row you would think you were on a brand new plane. the overheads are larger then the 'buses and everything from the lavs to the air vents are modernized. But anyways when the day comes that the last boeing 737 and Airbus A-320's are parked in the desert... the crews are gonna fly home on a Northwest DC-9 :-P

Even airline pilots say that
When we fly our Airbus to VCV, there will be a DC-9 waiting to fly us home.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit.  Wink/being sarcastic
Being a southern CA boy where the DC-series & Tristars were built, I prefer a Douglas or Lockheed myself. Merry Christmas.

If not a "DC-9", certainly a MD-80!

Agreed whole-heartedly.

A few months back I flew on my first DC-9 since Delta had theirs (a Northwest -51). I was blown away...it was great from a pax standpoint, absolutely.

I got my head checked--by a jumbo jet
