Dear all,

I know this question has been raised for hundreds of times and I hope this doesn't bother you for answering it again.

I am going to LHR this Saturday and want to know where the best places are to take pictures at LHR and how to get there?Besides, when is the best time?

Thanks a lot.

One more question, which tube station should I go to if I want to get there?
Is there any offical place for people to take photos overthere?

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

You can get off at Hatton Cross station on the Piccadilly line, turn right from the station exit and walk down the perimetre road for a few hundred yards. Here you can see take offs or landings from 27L (depending on the runway rotation this week) Previously we had the spectators gallery on the Queens building near terminal 2 which was the official viewing terrace for LHR, but BAA have closed it for security reasons.
