HB-IOE @ Bristol Filton In Full MH Colours

Whilst driving past Bristol Filton on Saturday, 27th December, I saw an A330 in full MH colours but with a Swiss registration (it looked like HB-IOE, but I was driving quite fast). Does anyone know if it's an MH aircraft going to LX or vice-versa? My money's on the latter.

Also HB-IQF will go to MH (to become 9M-MKT).

I think it is HB-IQF.

It is coming from LX and goes to MH.

Here's a picture of it in Dusseldorf a few days ago:

This almost can't be the one spotted in Dusseldorf because the plane is spotted still in Hangar 8 at Dusseldorf.

It's quite simple: HB-IQE is at Filton, HB-IQF is at Dusseldorf! Both planes are expected to be flown to ZRH tomorrow, 31st December, for cabin modification works. Happy clicking...

A330-223 HB-IQE (cn 255) will become 9M-MKU.
A330-223 HB-IQF (cn 262) will become 9M-MKT.

They did the painting in Filton and maintenance check in Dusseldorf.

Delivery to MH mid-Jan '04.

Another 2 A330 (-322 cn 95 & 143 currently with Skyservice) might join MH fleet by 2Q '04.

For leased aircraft, the registrations are usually back-to-front, i.e.:
MSN 096 9M-MKZ ('95-'99)
MSN 143 9M-MKY ('96-'98)
MSN 290 9M-MKX (delivered Feb '03)
MSN 300 9M-MKW (delivered Feb '03)
MSN 296 9M-MKV (delivered Apr '03)
MSN 255 9M-MKU (delivery Jan '04)
MSN 262 9M-MKT (delivery Jan '04)

The registrations are usually based on which aircraft will be delivered first.
After this, the next aircraft to be leased should then be 9M-MKS.

You can always try to look it up on that website via quicksearch (above), but since those details are newly added, they are banned for non-subscribers.

HB-IQE is still in Filton. Flight to ZRH scheduled to Wednesday 7 Jan (assuming no more hiccups).

HB-IQF is already in ZRH to complete the cabin mods. Delivery to MH around 15/16 Jan.
