I think Southwest had some good ones in the 70's. Anything is better than what they have turned into now. All politically correct, I mean seriously, what are they thinking about, not being attractive.

The sexiest F/A uniforms are those of asian carriers!

Singapore, Thai, Garuda, JAL and Air India.

Most western airline F/As look like office secretaries! Ugly!

Didn't Brainiff have the "Air Strip" back in the 60s or 70s?

KaiGywer, yep, that was Braniff. Introduced in the mid-60s, not sure how long it lasted. Maybe until the end of Braniff I.

Guys

From a dispatcher in Europe.

The award has to go to V-Bird. They have a tight body fitting suit which shows all the right curves.

I always bit to dispatch the V-Bird.

Thanks

LH's flight attendants have very tight trousers... They are very good!  Big thumbs up Always pleasure to fly with LH and flight attendants aren't the only reason. The uniforms of Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines looks quite good too...

PSA had the hot pants first. When Southwest was beginning their operation, they came to PSA to see how they did it and bring back as many ideas that worked back to Texas. (Remember at the time, PSA flew only in California as an intrastate, Southwest was doing a similar thing in Texas.) PSA provide the "Love Airline" with an older version of their uniforms that were not in use any longer.

Someone else mentioned the Braniff strip. My dad flew back from Yakota AFB in Japan to Travis AFB in California in late 1967 on s Braniff charter to the military. He said the flight attendants changed outfits at least 7 times during the flight (I believe it was 13 hours in a DC-8).

Yes Braniff International had the airstrip. And then in the late 70's till shut down in May of 1982, Braniff had Halston uniforms. If interested go to some of the Braniff sites for a look.

LOL....that pic is not sexy. Its ugly! I think Singapore airlines has the sexiest uniforms right now. The old Virgin uniform was hot, the new one is blah. I agree most airlines have gone corporate, but still a few flight attendants still look sexy in thier uniforms.
