I have seen WN's N711HK in and out of PVD recently with the winglets equipped. However, it is still in the old colors, including the winglets. Iwas under the impression that when they received their winglets they would also be painted. Does anyone on this site from WN know if they intend to paint canyon blue on this aircraft or will it stay in the tan colors? My opinion is that it should stay in the old colors as sort of a tribute to Herb. What do you think? What do you know about it?

I saw two WN planes at MDW on the 27th of December in the old scheme with winglets attached. I thought it was odd as well, and assumed that when the ship went down for winglet upgrades, they would use the same downtime for the application of the new paint scheme. The entire fleet will be repainted though, that is for sure.
