I saw the BA 777 config at seatguru http://www.seatguru.com/british/B777.shtml , and was shocked to see that World Traveller , and World Traveller plus sections only have two toilets!

That's 2 toilets for 167 pax, or 1 WC per 83.5 pax

The older BA 747's (which I have flown on) have a much more reasonable 7 toilets in WT and WT+ sections catering for 354 pax (1 WC per 35.4 pax)

their main competition does not fare so badly either:

VS B744 1 WC per 56.3 pax (6 WC, 338 PAX)
VS A343 1 WC per 43.0 pax (5 WC, 215 PAX)
VS A346 1 WC per 65.3 pax (4 WC, 261 PAX)

Why does the BA 777 have so few toilets, the queue's must be a nightmare - let alone should one break down!!

Any one have any experience of the BA 777 config?

That seat map is incorrect. To be fair, even BA's own website is partially wrong on toilet location.
There are either 3 or 4 toilets in that middle section between WT and WT+ dependant on whether bunks are fitted or not.(the access to bunks takes the place of the centre right hand toilet. There are a further 2 toilets, one each side,at the very rear of the a/c.
So,either 5 or 6 is the correct amount.

The layout of seatguru is not correct as the BA 777s in this configuration has an additional 3 lavatories at the rear of the aircraft. One situated in front of Left side rear door and one on each side right behind the rear doors. So a total of 5 lavatories is available to World Traveller Plus and World Traveller passengers.

The correct layout can be seen here:

V1-Rotate is quite right......... the config shown on that link shows the wrong galley layouts for that seating config. The a/c shown is an A Market in terms of galleys, but a B Market in terms of seating, so the site is totally confused :-~
3/4 Class B Market aircraft have 5 toilets as standard in W & M cabins 2 at doors 3 and 3 at doors 4. 2 Class B Market a/c have 2 at door 2, 4 at door3 & 2 at door4. The few A market 777s that are left have 4 toilets but have a lower number of W & M seats.
