I know of the website to find out what tail number airplane operated on specific days in the US from 1995 to present. Does anyone know where you can find out which aircraft were operated on flights pre 1995? Also what about flights on US carriers to and from Europe? Those flights are not listed on the gov. website.

You have to request the ACARS logs for the desired month, but when you get it it is an HTML file with most trans-Atlantic flights covered, as well as European flights.

Better is to subscribe to the Civilspotters yahoo group, at least 5 full UK Acars logs a day which covers all aircrafts that send out ACARS from/to the US, plus all the rest over the UK.
