What is your source? I'm very curious, and I assume that this is just the top 100 domestic airport pairs. Or is it overall? If it's not the latter, then do you have the international ones as well?

Also, how is it possible that EWR-HNL is on the list, whereas IAH-HNL, with double daily service, isn't?

My sources are the Department of Transportation itself, and the spreadsheets where I get these numbers from are readily available on the DOT website...and FLY, I'd give numbers, but I don't have quite THAT much time on my hands...

Concerning the post that questioned EWR-HNL on the list and IAH-HNL not being on the top 100 list......could it be that a good percentage of the pax on the IAH-HNL flights are connecting passengers, thus IAH is not their origin, thus, not counted for this list. By looking a map, I would assume that far more connecting pax going to Hawaii on CO transit IAH, where EWR has a lot of O&D traffic.

I found it interesting that of the top 15, 14 involve NYC and 13 involve EWR.

Good to see number 59 with MDW-CLE. Good operation for Continental and Continental Express at MDW with 4 daily flights to CLE on Continental Express ERJ and 3 daily flights to EWR on Continental 735.
