I saw a similar LET-410 to the one below in TGU over the holidays operating as TAG. Does anyone know about them?

Also, does Atlantic operate scheduled service within Central America or just charters?

I know Atlantic Airlines flies a scheduled service within Honduras. I know for a fact it flies to TGU, SAP, La Ceiba, Roatan and im quite sure it also flies to Utila and Trujillo. I ve also heard it flies to other Central American countries. Its definitely not a charter.

Not heard anything about TAG though.

I flew on TAG (Transportes Aereos Guatemaltecos) in August, 2002. They are a charter airline based at Guatemala City La Aurura International Airport and sell theie capacity to travel agencies and tour groups visiting the Tikal Ruins near Flores. They also operate charters for hire to destinations throughout Central America.

I flew on them from Guatemala City to Flores on one of their two LET-410's out of their own terminal located on the north side of the La Aurora airfield. Our travel agency sent a car to pick us up at our hotel and then took us to their terminal which is not located in public area (security checkpoint). Our flight was fully booked, mostly with Spanish language students from Antigua wanting to see Tikal. When walking to the plane I noticed that TAG also operates other general aviation type aircraft, including what I think was a King Air, and a Cessna 420.

At Flores Airport, TAG is handled by Tropical Air, an airline based in Belize. The LET-410s were showing their age a bit, but they got us from point A to point B without any problems.
