I am taking a trip to the US next month and I'd like to travel on some 727s. I know that PAN AM fly some on the east coast, but could anyone let me know where else I can expect to be able to fly in a 727 on the east coast?

Try TransMeridian (http://www.tmair.com), they fly some up-state NY to Florida trips with 727s. Laker Air flies some trips to the Bahamas, but their schedule changes frequently so I don't know if they fly up to the Northeast now or not.

ChampionAir operates a growing(believe it or not) fleet of 727-200s out of DTW,MSP,DEN,STL,LAS,and DFW,doing charter for wholesalers,DOD,and sports teams.
Yep, and they just, apparently, gave new life to one from the desert the other day. While on FBOweb, I noticed a Champion 727-200 heading from VCV (Victorville, CA) to MSP. That said "rebirth" of a three-holer to me!

Sunworld was operating 2 727-200 advanced with winglets. Just charter ops. Apple Vacations uses them quite a bit. Not sure if their still flying. You'll see them mainly around PIT and points SE of PIT.
