USAirways will resume non-stop service this summer from Hamilton, Bermuda to both Ft. Lauderdale and Baltimore.
Baltimore service will operate daily 6 June through 24 September. Ft. Lauderdale service will operate Wednesdays and Saturdays, 5 May through 22 September. They have also applied for new service to Orlando that, pending government approval, will operate on Saturdays between May and September.
In addition, Philadelphia will get a second daily non-stop to Bermuda. These are in addition to thier daily non-stops from Bermuda to Boston, Charlotte, New York City LaGuardia, and Washington National, making for a total of eight non-stop destinations from Hamilton.

A little off topic, but I read some where that US was going to start LGA-SJU
non-stop. I wonder if this is in the works?

US already operates a SAT only nonstop flight between LGA and SJU with the A319. Now to the Bermuda topic, is there a market for a MCO-BDA flight?

I would think that LGA-SJU would work well daily. Nice to see this route,
wonder if AA will bag in on this.

I though LGA had a 1500 mile flight restriction. Isn't SJU outside this ring? Nobodu ever served SJU from LGA that I know of. You would think TWA and American would have served SJU from LGA with L1011s, 767s, and A300s all these years if they could have.

Orlando is a popular tourist destination for Bermudans, so possibly.
Bermuda may see even more growth this summer. American Airlines to MIA and United Airlines to ORD are being talked about. Bermudan government has already offered to subsize any MIA-BDA service that AA flies.

That is great news for US Airways is resume nonstop from FLL-BDA again and those load factors was quite doing very well on their way to BDA. Which one is city was serves out of US Airways hub? Is that was BOS, BWI, PHL, CLT, LGA & DCA to BDA and FLL/MCO to BDA. I knew that would be great time for the customers.

What?!?!? Why would they serve BWI daily if they will serve PHL double daily. They are so close, the ppl who want to travel to BDA from BWI can just travel up to PHL.
As for FLL, i think it's great...and hope they get approved for MCO-BDA service

I think it's safe to say that US Airways will be able to effectively run a daily out of BWI, in addition to two dailies out of PHL. I'm sure it happens on occasion, but I've never seen any indication that any large majority of BWI passengers travel to PHL to hop on flights. Also, depending on when the two flights leave PHL, they can gather quite a bit of connecting traffic. One daily BWI-BDA and two daily PHL-BDA flights should do just fine.
