Why is everyone bashing the a345.
It has not even flown a revenue flight yet, give it a dam chance.
all I hear is I hope Singapore get rid of them.
Give it a chance.
Plus I guess the a346 is also getting bashed.

Some people are so fanatic in Airbus or Boeing that they have lost all common sense.

They are too blind and ignorant to face that both are great manufacturers, and that both make great planes. To prove their own truths, they are making all kinds of theories which are based on nothing but hot air.

Airbus has set a standard with the A332. Thanks to this, Boeing is now working on a B7E7. The B7E7 will be better than the A332, so Airbus will again try to be better!

Isn't this kind of concurrence nice?

That's an explanation for those idiot statements like 'I hope SQ gets rid of them' that you have to hear over here...

That is a very good statement!

But sadly a LOT of people here are overly patriotic/biased.

I am pretty sure that the A345 will be a success, especially if you look at what SQ are equipping it with!

I wish I could go on one of those flights soon!
Sadly my financial situation as a college student wont allow that for some time!

Where have all the tri-jets gone...

I agree. Some people are crazy about Boeing they need to bash Airbus products. Same goes for the Airbus fanatics as well.

About SQ replacing them, I have heard that before. SQ hasn't even begun revenue flights yet, lets not guess what they do now. Besides SQ is an airline, they only care about the bottom line. Whichever manufacturer's product gives them a better profit margin, that's who they will go with, regardless of other matters.

As for A340 beign a slow climber. The only people this should matter is to engineers and even then just as a passing note. All other armchair aviation enthusisasts should not use this as a point to bash a good product regardless of who makes it. As long the plane doesnt' fall out of the sky, what does it matter.

A345 is a wonderful plane and its future looks impressive. I hope it becomes a success. As far as the A346 not being liked by pilots or FA's. They are employees of airlines, I doubt it if the airlines would change planes or replace entire fleets based on the nuances of the pilots and FA's. They are supposed to do their job, regardless of what plane they are given.

As a matter of fact the 777 is one of the best designed planes out there, albeit quite big.

Bottom line is if the A345 canmake money for the airlines, airlines will continue to order them. If the "Other Company" can make something which is better then airlines will go to them till Airbus can come out with something competitive. This is how it works.

Well, now lets jsut wait for members of "a certain country" to turn up and begin the whine-ing.

Waiting with earplugs ready!

to me it seems SQ has really thought out its a345 product well.
considering they even thought of getting a heated floor in the areas where people gather to allow them to walk around the plane on socks comfortably just shows the dedication and attention to detail they have dedicated to the product.

This has been discussed to dead and will for sure start another A versus B war. That's why this topic is archived.
