Is JetMagic Already A Success?

JetMagic started operations in April 2003 aiming high quality/low fares from Cork to European destinations. How successful has it been ?

I think that they have been very successful.

I have a friend who flew them from LCY-ORK about two weeks ago and said that they were brilliant for what she paid. She paid £50 oneway.

Their fleet now consists of:

- 2x Embraer ERJ135
- 2x Embraer ERJ145
- 1x Canadair

However, there are only two aircraft that have been delivered which are:

- EIORK - ERJ135
- EIGXA - ERJ 145

Im not sure when the other three are due to be delivered, but pretty soon I think.

Infact they may have already been delivered.

Their destinations are:

- Alicante
- Barcelona
- Belfast City
- Paris CDG
- Edinburgh
- Jersey
- Liverpool
- London City
- Milan
- Nantes
- Nice
- Rome Ciampino

These are all from Cork.

The other two Embraer´s are:

145 - EI-GXB already in service
135 - EI-LCY stored at Embraer in Brazil, waiting negotiations.

I believe that the EDI route is doing well.
They offer a high standard of service with leather seats etc.

Jersey was only a summer destination that operated on a Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. It finished around late August if I remember correctly. From what I heard the flights were quite succesful with good loads and were rumoured to continue through the winter, however, this did not happen. I suppose they will probably return for the summer season again. Fares were around £100 return to the island so it was pretty reasonable.

are they going to start operating to/from Glasgow? Infact GLA would be ideal for a second base and could fly to CDG and FRA this would keep the great expasion GLA is seeing this year continue.
