Hong Kong Gets 737-200 Service!

If you know Hong Kong you will know that 737-200's stoppped rather a long time ago. Not sure who the last was but I guessing Cambodia or Dragonair.

Well President airlines have now started to Hong Kong three times a week with their only aircraft, a 737-200 registered YU-ANP.

Interesting to see 737s back at Hong Kong. I wonder if with some of the low-cost carriers entering the Asian market, we might see more smaller aircraft at HKG.

Hong Kong gets one plane smaller then a 732 and thats the CR Airways CRJ200. I would love to see lots of small aircraft!!

Not sure I'm that keen to see President Airliners here - dodgy carrier but great to see that there are other HKSAR users of this website. Presumably you all know HKGCADs views towards GA aircraft, the Govt Flying Services dim view towards private helicopter operators and the AAs decision not to invest in a third GA dedicated runway - preferring instead to invest in nearby Shenzhen and convert it into a low cost hub with more GA business. In the meantime CR Airways will be taking more aircraft in the autumn of this year and Bizjets will continue to experience an unfavorable operating environment at CLK - re time taken to file a flight plan etc.

CR Airways said they wanted a second aircraft before the end of 2004!!.

As for biz jets it just gets better and better, did you not see it a few months back.

26th Oct 10 biz jets
8th Nov 8 biz jets
15th Nov 4 biz jets
22nd Nov 5 biz jets

After spotting at Kai Tak for so many years I'm happy to see more then 2  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
