I know this topic has been covered alot here recently, but I heard an interesting rumor today at work. A PSA DO-328 F/O was doing his walkaround and a fellow ramp rat asked him about the current situation. His reply was that more than likely US Air will sell his employing company. PSA,Alleghany, and Piedmont are all wholly owned companies of US Air, so are we all doomed? I would think Piedmont would be first since we haven't had any jet orders ( that being a hint). PSA and Alleghany have orders for CRJ's and 170's, I believe. Any other bits of info out there would be appreciated on the topic of the future of the Express carriers. Thanks in advance.
