Does someone have more information regarding the new airline that will be set up by former SAirGroup boss Philippe Bruggisser and former SR financial boss Schorderet (+a lot of other ex-SR managers)?
I have read reports that they want to start operations with 6 A-319 aircraft from Switzerland to the Middle East and Turkey in a business class only configuration. Investors are already found in the Middle East and they have 100 Mio. CHF at the moment.
Well, I think that these folks are criminals and should be in jail already. They were the main responsibles for the biggest economical scandal in Switzerland, causing the bankruptcy of SAirGroup and Swissair and also they are partly responsible for the end of Sabena, Air Lib, AOM and Crossair etc.
They are probably well informed and will have no trouble to set up this airline.
Probably they will take over Gulf Air, Emirates and Quatar Airlines now!
Don't get me wrong I think a business class airline on these high yield routes is a great thing, I just don't like the managers...

@Teva: I think it's no problem for them to get a operations certificate. Since the end of SAirGroup Bruggisser lived in Switzerland (or at least had his address in Switzerland). The Swiss justice did not take any action against him...
...and he does not own the airline. The airline will be owned by the Middle Eastern investors so they won't get problems.

This is ridiculous. Brugisser is THE MAIN RESPONSIBLE for the Swissair bancruptcy. On does not know yet if he even acted in a criminal way. I can not believe that anyone gives him money for a new airline project. I never would fly his airline.

I also noticed a funny thing in last Sunday's SonntagsZeitung (yes I know not the most reliable source for aviation news ) They write that Bruggisser has bought the marketing rights of Euroblue, a Dutch virtual airline, which is a member of Star Alliance.
So there are two possibilities:
either Bruggisser has indeed bought Euroblue, in the meaning that they really exist (that would probably reflect his management skills )
SonntagsZeitung is fooling us (not for the first time )
