I was suprised to find that CKS in Taipei offers free wireless internet.

On the way back from Taiwan. I found that there were 3 wireless internet carrier in CKS terminals. Hinet is pay service, the other two on the other hand were free.

We need to get a list going on free Wi-Fi airports.

Continentals Presidents clubs are free wireless. If you are not a member, you can probably get a signal just outside the club

Tri-Cities Regional airport has it for free. As if anyone here would care about them having that, haha.

Since new locations spring up every day it is hard to keep up. But there are several web sites that try to provide this info. A search for terms like "free airport wireless" or "free airport wi-fi" will probably turn up other directories.

In the meantime here are a couple of sites I use.
This one currently lists 525 airport locations around the world:
http://www.jiwire.com/hotspots-hot-spot-airport-directory-browse-by-country.htm

This list has 174 spots. It also has a link on the left to the Admirals Club locations.

We have it here at CAE.  Smile Great to be able to pull out my laptop sitting in a rocking chair by a window overlooking the runway, and surf a bit while waiting to board.

Airpath put in wireless high-speed internet in TOL about 1-2 years ago. Never use it, yet I am there 5 days out of the week.  Laugh out loud
