LAX:
Terminal 1: Home to America West, Southwest and USAirways. This is the third worst!
Terminal 3. Home to AirTran, Alaska, some of ATA's flights, Frontier, Horizon and Midwest. This is the worst Terminal in need of remodel!
Terminal 6: Aeromexico, Continental, Copa (departures) some of Delta and United's domestic and international flights. This is the second worst.
I still thinkTerminal 2 looks ok comapred to these three mentioned above.

IAH terminal C....good thing they already are in the process of renovating it.
It's supposed to compliment the new terminal E when completed. Can't wait until it's all finished.

I agree with Dtw757....the old terminals at DTW are dumps, and especially an eyesore when compared to the beautiful new NWA World Gateway.
I'm always ashamed to have been born & raised in Detroit every time I fly into that old LC Smith terminal. It looks the same as it did when I used to hang out there as a kid.
Bring on the bulldozers!!!

I have to agree with LHR001.
GIG Terminal 1 (Old Terminal) is in desperate need of a major renovation.
SDU also needs a renovation as does CGH (Congonhas, São Paulo) because of their heavy traffic. But those two are already scheduled for a major overhaul.
I would say that MIA might also need a little work.

I've flown through MEM on NW one time, and that was one time too many. What a rat's nest. Low ceilings, dark corridors, brown everywhere, including brown brick on the inside of the concourses! Just awful.

SAN - Needs to be demolished and start over
MIA
BOS
LGA - except DL/US terminals
MEM
JFK, DFW and MCI all have serious design issues. Sprucing up the interiors won't cure anything.

My choice would be CDG terminal 1. Last time I was there the roof was leaking really badly and all the glass windows needed a bit of cleaning/replacement. The pax departure areas were too cramped and not particularly comfortable.
I'd also give LHR T2 a bit of a work over. Maybe give it a deliberate retro look, rather that the retro look because the operators haven't done much to the non income generating areas of it for the past 30 years.
Just my thoughts.
Cheers
and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

DAM; I don't think it's been touched since the day it was built, closely followed by DEL; all I can remember was the 70's styling, how dark it was inside, and the stench of Jeyes fluid everywhere.
26 9V-SPF: FRA - Terminal 1, especially the lower level and the baggage claim is a complete disgrace. Needs further renovation. MIA - Concourse F, dark and under
27 TURBOJETMAN: By far Delta has some of the worst terminals in terms of passenger conveniences. JFK should be torn to the ground. Atlanta is probably the worst hub c
28 DCA-ROCguy: All of CLE except the D concourse. I'm with you, Mike, bulldozers are the best remedy for DTW's Smith terminal. MKE's landside facade is clunky, perha
29 Mcmahonsmr: I'll second the CDG Terminal 1 vote, and also back up JFK 3, 8/9. MCMAHON/SMR
