Zoom To Fly YUL-CDG This Summer

According to a Quebec Travel Agency website,

Zoom is set to begin flights this summer between Montreal and Paris. No word on the airports (ORY/YMX/YUL etc.), and no word on frequency.

It will be good to see Zoom in Montreal.

Actually, thats good news, more competition on a high pax and yield route.....hopefully it will be YUL....wouldnt make really any sense for YMX would it, with things almost winding down to nothing there in the next while?

What a/c does Zoom use or are they likely to use for Mtl?

Zoom only has a 763 with a second on the way. The aircraft sure does get around, its in YYZ only one day a week that i know of...tuesdays to do YYZ-POS.

Interesting that Zoom can get a gate and would pay to be at CDG, great competition for AC and AF

As far as I know, it;s not confirmed which airport at either end they will be using if it goes through. So it could end up being ORY at the Paris end. Which wouldn't be horrible. It would be nice if they were YUL's first ORY flight.
