Rumors of Mahan Air to DEL via Tehran twice weekly A310 to start June...
Also that PIA to switch YYZ to MAN with 747 so they could free up A310's to operate more direct Pakistan routes/frequencies from BHX.

No officer, its NOT a surface to air missile its a camera..for taking photographs.

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

Is that the same Mahan Air that was supposed to hold slots for a Tehran -Manchester service last year ?

Don't see them coming to any provisional airport any time soon !
They do however fly to Dusseldorf where there is a very large Iranian population
Plus there is substantial cargo up lift.

Rutankard- There is a huge market for the indian subcontinent from BHX, which this service is aimed at, indeed BHX is slowly growing developing an asian/UK market with the likes of EK PIA Uzbek and Turkmanistan.

At the smaller end of the aircraft scale, don't rule out more expansion before the end of the year from Eastern Airways, particularly if BACX decide to drop any more routes.

T3 are seriously considering basing crew at BHX in the future and would consider picking up any more UK routes dropped by other carriers at BHX.

Like a fine wine, one gets better with age.

Not much I know but Duo are starting a service linking up EDI and BHX thus giving their passengers in both cities the choice of destinations from both airports. I will be twice daily. Early morning and late evening. Starts end of March along with the MUC and Nice flights from EDI.
