Jetsgo flies all over Canada, most of the provinces except New Brunswick. I think there would be a demand for Saint John or Fredericton. Not as much for Moncton because Canjet already flies there and Westjet as well. Even YYG or YQY have Jetsgo service, so why not to YSJ or YFC?

Air service to New Brunswick in general stinks! YSL has lost all service and YFC and YSJ have lost 319/737 service to YYZ. There's no longer service BOS-YSJ but DL serves YFC now. I am surprised as well that there's no low-cost service in YSJ or YFC.

I did not know that Delta flew to YFC. That's great. They seem to pick up the market that AC left. However, I would like to see SG or WS or C6 to fly to YFC or YSJ as there would be so much demand there.

But New Brunswick is still sort of frozen out by Jetsgo, just as is Québec City too, which is much closer to home for the company and even maybe a likelier candidate for service from them.
It's the same old story, their planes are just too big. Fine for their sun routes, but Canada-wide they kind of only make sense for medium-haul --YYZ-Maritimes, YYZ-Winnipeg-- and longhaul --YYZ-YYC, YYZ-YVR which in themselves are mostly payload-restricted so even that's not such a good fit either.
Maybe in a few months they'll announce that they'll be getting some of AA's old F100s -- I guess they'd need at least a half-dozen of them, to make it worth their while for the extra crew training, certification, and maintenance ops overhead it would incur. But it sure would enable 'second tier' markets for them -- like Québec City and New Brunswick, maybe Saskatoon as well-- to have service from them as a result.

The F100's are out of the picture, with a shift to MD90's going on now...Looks for a few new US routes comming soon, If the 90's are chosen then LAX will likely be the next destination. Jetsgo is getting their ass wooped in the Maritimes by Canjet, and I would imagine that the market in New Brunswick is just too small to support year round MD80 service. Canjet and to a lesser extent Westjet have the NB market locked up....Jetsgo would be better off aiming for some larger markets from Quebec west, and South. I think Seasonal is about as good as it will get for NB Service for the near future.
