Japan Air Systems, for the second straight day has grounded many of it's Domestic Flights due to cracks found in more Jet Engines.

On the first day 7000 passengers were effected and on the second day about 4900 passengers were effected. As many as 62 flights were expected to be cancelled today (Wednesday) due to the finds.

Jas has began Emergency inspections of its fleet of 25 MD81 and MD87, after two cases of engine trouble this month. By late Tuesday, all but one of the planes had been inspected and 17 were found to have cracks in their engines, JAS said. Two of the damaged engines had been repaired.
