What Were The 3 Small Black Objects At 20,000ft?

Yesterday afternoon, I was on an SN Avro from BRU-LGW. About halfway into the flight, I noticed 3 small black objects whizz by just under the plane at about 10-15 seconds intervals. I was seated in 14A. Due to the speed we were travelling at, it was impossible to see what they were. My dad thinks they could have been migrating birds. Anybody know better?

I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.

I'm pretty sure that certain birds can fly that high. I'm not sure what breed they are.

Last year 1,944 New Yorkers saw something and said something.

But the real question is....can they fly that fast?

If the plane is fast enough, the birds could be hovering and still "whizz" by..

Geese are known to fly up to 9000 meters.
And if you fly at cruising speed everything that is not traveling in your direction whizzes by.

Where have all the tri-jets gone...

Guys, guys, guys...

They weren't birds...They were aliens.

They travel in threes in case one is attacked the other two can plant their photon blaster ray on ya.  Big grin

Sorry...I had to.

They were the black helicopters that spray mind control drugs and count all the money in your house. Also since it was in Europe the helicopters may have been carrying UN troops training to invade the US.

They could have been pieces of baggage falling out of the cargo compartment accidentally opening in flight.

Did the masks come down?

Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

The were the flying robots that the government uses to make sure the chemtrails the airliner leave are potent enough to keep all the conspiracy people happy. (was that a run on sentence or what?)

Seriously, I have seen geese at 10,000 ft. I was on a USAir flight that had to make a rapid evasive maneuver in order to miss a large flock of geese at that altitude. Why the Canadians don't install TCAS on their geese is beyond me.
