Hello! I am flying Air France in March from ORD-CDG-GVA on economy class. Bought the tickets through DL but flying AF. What can I expect? Can you compare it to other airlines (Ive flown KLM, IB, BA, AA, and DL on transatlantic flights) What about the CDG-GVA-CDG segment?

By the way...do you know what plane i'll be flying? Types of meal? Seats? etc...
thank you!!!

By the way...can you recommend some seats in the aircraft? I am trying to find their seat maps but I am unable to do so, and I do not see any of their planes in seatexpert or seatguru.com. I need 4 seats.

Thanks again!

I guess you are flying AF 51 from ORD to CDG ? If so, the plane is an Airbus 340. If you need 4 seats you can either have two two or the middle range to be together (configuration 2 4 2).

by the way, you can see the seat map on www.airfrance.fr go to Infos Produits, then to Avions, then click on Airbus at the TOP of the page (next to Boeing).
Meals on AF are generally quite good !

Food is the best thing they have going for them. Other than that, the planes are not always clean, the cabin crew are indifferent, but there are worse European carriers than AF.

You can expect a nice flight, excellent food and hope the crew will introduce you the the french "art de recevoir".

It should be OK better than Delta, I think.

Have a nice trip to Europe,

Nick

Well, it looks like the airplane to GVA is going to be an A321, operated by AF.

AF is nice in long haul services.I like very much. And for intra europeans flights AF and IB are,for me,the best options.

Will likely be flying on AF CDG-KIX here in a couple of weeks myself. I've had flights on their 777 and 747-200 before and other than a small run-in with a rude passenger behind me on the 777, can't really complain about their service, meals, seats etc. on long haul flights.
The flight above that I'm planning to fly, CDG-KIX, is on an A332. It was asked above, but what's the layout in economy?

Thanks
Jeffrey
