AirTran MD-95 first flight

Has the first passenger flight of the AirTran MD-95 been announced yet? If it has, when will it be? Also, what route will it be flown on?

I hope that I can get on this flight (as it will probably be the last first flight of any MD airliner). Does anybody else want to be on it?

I would love to be on that flight. I think that it is gonna be on the ATL-??? route. If anyone has anymore info could you all tell me.

I think the first AirTran deliveries will take place next summer, after about a year of flight trials. Try checking the boeing webstite--they mioght have that information about the plane.

Right now it's in Yuma Arizona.They are being tested and
geting certified. They fly from Yuma out over the Pacific
near the Baja California coast for testing. I think AitTran
will get there first one sometime in the 1qtr of 99.
