Does anyone know what is being done with the BA Concorde lounges at JFK and LHR? I am sure that BA spent some major funds on the remodel of these lounges in keeping with the entire product makeover when they re-launched the service. I'll be curious to find out if anyone knows what happened to the lounges.

The Concorde Room at both LHR T4 & JFK T7 are still very much in use.
The are reserved for BA's First Class passengers and BA Premier members (invitation only FQTV level).

Thank you for the reply BA001Concorde! I knew someone here would know and answer eventually. So the Terraces Lounges served all Premium Cabin (F and C) for BA prior to the termination of Concorde service? Now F Class pax have their own space I take it. Anybody have any pics of the Concorde/F lounges at JKF and LHR? Would love to see them.

HNLFlyboy - BA also operate dedicated FIRST lounges too. Terrace/Club lounges are available for use by FIRST/Club/Prem/Gold [oneWorld Emerald]/Silv [oneWorld Sapphire] pax. FIRST lounges are available to FIRST/Prem/Gold pax and the Concorde lounges as BA001 says above are for FIRST/Prem only.
There are also Arrivals lounges in some major locations available to FIRST/Club World/Prem/Gold pax.

(BA Silv, OW Sapphire, J Class Pax) Executive Club Lounges, Business Class Club World/Europe Lounges, the Terraces Lounges, and the Molton Brown Travel Spa at LHR & LGW.
(BA Gold, OW Emerald, F Class Pax) All of the above, plus the First Class Lounges.
(BA Prem) All of the above, plus the Concorde Room.
BA Gold/Prem and J & F class passengers may also use the Arrivals Lounges at LHR, LGW, and JNB.
FIRST passengers may also use the Concorde Room at LHR & JFK.
... I have not been to the Concorde Room at JFK but the Concorde Room at LHR is one of the nicest lounges I have ever seen. The Terraces is very nice (and I think the concept is a good idea) but it was very crowded and hard to find a seat. The Molton Brown Travel Spa is awesome. The FIRST Lounge is full of BA Gold/OW Emerald Pax travelling in M, W, and J (it's stuffy in there if you know what I mean).

Thanks for all the info guys, you all are awesome. BA001, I know the feeling of "stuffy". I was a young member, in my early 20's, of UA RCC for many years and also a Premier with them. I remember going to the RCC at JFK, which is right across the hall from BA's lounges. Man was that RCC at JFK STUFFY. All of them just kept staring at me. I was dressed very well, as is the norm when I travel, especially to the East Coast. Maybe is was my Game Boy and hot chocolate that I was enjoying that bothered them. I made this observation to my sister who I was traveling with, she also a Premier/RCC member, and she said out loud, "F$*% them, you and I pay our dues so they can just live with you being here". I thought that was so classic, as I am sure some of "them" heard her comment. I just went back to playing my Game Boy.

BA001 - have you been through the new premium check-in area and revamped lounge complex at LHR T1? This is now my favourite BA setup - it's wonderful! The T4 Terraces by Gate 1a are pretty huge (and very nice), but the trouble is there's just so many pax at T4 that it does fill up quite easily.
LHR-SFO is probably my most regular trip - can't wait for it to switch from T4 to T1!

GBOAC:
I have not yet seen the new premium CKIN area or revamped lounges at LHR T1. They had a few pictures in the staff newspaper and from what I saw, it did not look like T1 at all. Very nice.
This May, I will go back over for vacation and do a few day trips to other cities in Europe where I will be able to see much more of the new T1.
The Lounges I use are at the main Lounge Pavillion at T4. I should probably try the Terraces near 1A more often. The Terraces above the Concorde Room is always jam-packed which is probably due to the fact the MB Travel Spa is two floors below and everyone uses it.
