Northwest Resumes Daily Service Between Los Angeles International and Honolulu
Monday January 26, 11:00 am ET
Daily Nonstop Flights to Begin July 1


MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northwest Airlines (Nasdaq: NWAC - News) announced today that it is resuming daily nonstop service between Los Angeles International Airport and Honolulu, with service beginning July 1.
The service between Los Angeles and Honolulu had been suspended in December 2003. The flights will use 757-300 aircraft which seat up to 224 passengers, 24 in first class, and feature a main cabin arranged in a 3-3 seat pattern.

"We are pleased to resume this service and provide Hawaii-bound customers with additional ways to get to more of Hawaii's best destinations, as well as provide excellent connections to Northwest's service to Asia," said Beth Shultis, vice president of marketing and loyalty programs. "In addition, we are happy to be able to offer these flights in time for the peak summer travel season, along with great Northwest Airlines WorldVacations packages."

This is good news for NW and US mainland to Hawaii pax who will get another choice.

I am happy to see that NW returned this flight, I was disappointed to see it discontinued.

Yeah, this is good news for NW and did make come back from LAX to HNL again. They will have used with the B757-300 aircraft and which one is on their way to HNL.

That's cool, glad to see them back on that route! I've yet to fly on the B753, will have to soon.  Smile
