Northwest Resumes Daily Service Between Los Angeles International and Honolulu

Daily Nonstop Flights to Begin July 1
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northwest Airlines (Nasdaq: NWAC - News) announced today that it is resuming daily nonstop service between Los Angeles International Airport and Honolulu, with service beginning July 1.
The service between Los Angeles and Honolulu had been suspended in December 2003. The flights will use 757-300 aircraft which seat up to 224 passengers, 24 in first class, and feature a main cabin arranged in a 3-3 seat pattern.
"We are pleased to resume this service and provide Hawaii-bound customers with additional ways to get to more of Hawaii's best destinations, as well as provide excellent connections to Northwest's service to Asia," said Beth Shultis, vice president of marketing and loyalty programs.
