Just wondering, this is mexico's 5th busiest airport (the controller told me ), and it has its fare share of international flights (well, all to the U.S. ).
Any body out there has at least made a connection here? Thx, just to see how far HMO has reached.

Flew there in 2002, arrived with Aerocalifornia, departed with Aerolineas Internacionales ! Didn't seem particularly busy, about 1 AeroMexico mainline and two props were there both times.
There's also an old F-27 (Fairchild 227) derelict there but could never find out its identity. Anyone?
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Used to fly 1900's for Mesa down there pretty frequently, but that's been almost 5 years ago now. Usually would see Aerocalifornia, Aeromexico and Aerolitoral, plus occasionally Aerolineas Internacionales. Never seemed particularly busy there, but always at least some activity. Don't know what's changed there, though.

For those who haven't known yet, recent changes in HMO:
*rwy 29/11 is dead
*commercial ramp capacity is now for up to 12, + or - ,and at around 10am and later at 5pm it's almost always at full capacity.
*HMO approach is now a TRACON, controlling guaymas, obregon, los mochis, and others.
*civil aviation terminal just redone.
*Estafeta bought itself a hangar.
Heard that aerolineas Internacionales was shutdown for safety reasons, rojo, pzurita, and others will explain better than me.
i'll try to find out the registration nos. for the fairchild, has been sitting in the ramp for 2 years +...
