1. BA - Truly superb business class service in Europe
2. KLM - Handy for regional seemless connections to international destinations via Schipol
3. BMI - Next best airline out of Heathrow if BA is full!
Infact I don't think I have ever been booked on a flight with either KLM of BA in the last year which has been delayed and certainly not cancelled. I can't comment on BMI as I haven't flown with them since '99.

Within Europe, it is definitely Air One in Italy. They hand out Ice Cream Cones on their flights!
From Europe to the US, I must choose BA for quality and professionalism that can't be beat!

Although I haven´t flown on many european airlines, my best flight was aboard an Air France 777-200 GRU-CDG/CDG-GRU.
I liked specially because the flight attendants were very receptive and attencious, the food was delicious, the entertainment was good and the seat ( economy class ) was ok.

1. Swissair and Crossair. Simply the best when they were around. No other European airline, in my opinion, has been able to touch the class and sophistication that these two had, not even Swiss!

Aaah! Ryanair320, how could I have forgotten about Aer Lingus!? I flew them in 1999 fron BOS-SNN and my colleagues and I were up-graded to Premier Class. Very very nice flight. And loved the Irish Waterford Crystal and huge leather seats. Aaaaaaaaaah.

This one's easy: Swiss International Air Lines
I've flown them 15 times (10 short, 5 long-haul) and all flights have been remarkable experiences. Just recently tried them out in business class and that was heaven.
F/A's have always been friendly, planes clean, good food, and always on-time. I think I've experienced one delay so far, and that was due to Heathrow's congested skies.

I have always been impressed by the service and comfort of Lauda Air (before becomming part of Austrian Airlines). Business class was the best I've had from a european carrier. Sadly, I never had the oppertunity to fly Swissair.
This IS my signature

38 Babybus: I have to start with BA as they are really professional, very relaxed and can sort out most travel problems at the drop of a hat. Next is Air France,

51 NDB707: One for A340600, I have flown with Virgin a number of times and each time the service seems to get better, so with that VS gets my vote.
