Hi!

I am taking an extra leg on my trip from DUS to MSN just to get on a 764.
And I was wondering what seats give you a good view of the raked wing.
I am flying Delta.

Thanks a lot!

well, considering that DL doesn't fly 764ERs intercontinentally, nor to MSN... I'd say none of the seats would do you much good, unless you plan on routing via Florida or California  Big grin

How about ATL-CVG-MSN?

Ushermittwoch,

Best seats are behind the wing to see the raked wings IMHO...

Have fun! The 764's are a great ride and worth the extra leg (as if more flying time wasn't a good enough reason  Smile/happy/getting dizzy)

I've never been on a 764, but it seems behind the wings would be the best seat to see the raked wingtips.

According to DL's 764 seat map, the wings extend approximately rows 17 to 32, so probably just behind row 32.

I know that DL doesn't use them on intercontinental flights. I am going for the Airbus on long hauls. And Air France had the cheapest fares.

DL), Germany">DUS-CDG-ATL-CVG-MSN, here I come!

I don't know if I'm crazy here, but I think the best place to see the raked wingtip is right in the middle of the wing. Behind the wing you will just see the trailing edge but not notice the wingtip shape. It might be a little uncomfortable to look back to see it, but you will get the best glance!

Anyone agree with me on that one?  Confused

Id say just behind the wing would be best, but you can see it from anywqhere aft of the wing.

Thanks a lot.

I have requested seat 37A. So I hope that I can see it well enough from there.

Nope, it's visible from basically every seat anyway.
