However as some very obsurvent people would have noticd there are two different tails for the Union. I likethe lower one on the 735 as pictured above. Strange because i hate the older lower one on the 777s.

Beautiful!!!

Now I think that the Union on the 757 is bad. It makes the tail look huge for the aircraft,

Strange as I really like it on the 757 but have never taken to it on the A321.

However, I have to say that I think the Union Flag livery is very attractive whether it be on the fast............

I think that flag looks best on Concorde, but the overall Union Flag colors look best on the 744.

I was never fond of the half Union Jack scheme on BEA aircraft in the early 1970s. (I much preferred the square box version.)

Ramprat,

That's a Rebel Flag and it should never be mentioned with the word Union.

The so called Union Flag looks bad on every aircraft - bring back the World Tails, they were something really innovative and unique.

I always thought this one looked worst - it just didn't sit right on the DC10's engine and duct.

Screw the world tails and bring back the landor colour scheme, BA looked and felt British. The current Union flag is OK, but something like BMI's Union Jack would look classy on any BA plane, or be like Branson and VS, just stick the British flag on the planes!

I liked the world tails (well, most of them - some were just hidjus), but I like the Chatham flag scheme as well - it would be nice if BA would put a whole Union flag on the aircraft as well, by the reg or the front door (and an EU flag too, why not ? Hmmm, I see flames in my future...)

BA and a EU flag??? Never. Even if the airline wanted to, the conservative island defenders would even use Stingers to prevent EU flags flying on BA aircraft...

EU flags on BA planes? What for apart from unwanted "European" patriotism? BA is British and the country's flag carrier, only Union jacks please......  Big grin
