Chicken Is Off The Asian Flying Menus

Singapore Airlines Limited - A Member of Star Alliance - has announced that it is pulling chicken of some menus. "We have removed chicken meals on flights originating from countries where the outbreak has been reported," said a spokesman.

Singapore Airport Terminal Services - the largest handling company at Singapore's Changi Airport - a subsidiary of SIA Group - has said that other airlines that it handles are taking chicken off the menu too.

"There are some who replaced their chicken meals with seafood, or lamb or mutton," said a SATS spokesman though he declined to specify airlines saying it was an "internal matter".
