Continental Airlines said it canceled Flight 17 for Sunday from Glasgow, Scotland, to Los Angeles with an intermediate stop in Newark, N.J. According to Yahoo:

British Airways Flight 223 did take off Saturday from London and arrived as scheduled Saturday evening in Washington, as did Air France 026.

Well like I already said, Al Qaida is winning, paranoia is setting in and we are altering our lives. If we continue to cancel flights like this, we are giving in to them. GIVE THE PILOTS GUNS, Air Marshals on every flight, screen and run every passenger through the metal detector, check the baggage, if this is done there is no need to cancel anything. No Hijacker will be able to do anything on board an aircraft except have some hot lead enter his brain at a high rate of speed. Stop this insanity!!

If AQ were smart, they could just have reservations on every flight w/ names of "names of interest", then cancel all damn flights! Jesus!

And why not let plane depart, then unexpectedly land it and search the f ' in thing, then perhaps get someone they actually want, if they are there to begin with.

Also, Go forbid, let's let them know a week early what is and isn't going to be cancelled.

What f...ing bullsh..!!!!!

Really, this is crazy. We have to be able to stop this without cancelling every flight in sight. I get sick every time I see on the news another flight biting the dust, we spend all this money on intelligence why not use it to catch somebody??
