Spirit flight (forgot) from LGA to FLL was diverted to Myrtle Beach after an 18 year old (forgot nationality) repeatedly demanded access to the flight deck of the MD80. The FAs alerted the Captain, who radioed for FBI assistance at the new destination.

Looking for the story...

drunk/stupid/foreign

Uh huh.

Please be advised that this wacky American (me) does not consider foreigners to be in the same class as the stupid and the drunk.

Amazing, this person should be thrown in jail and beaten. Doesn't he realize this is the last thing anyone needs? Whether he is under the influence or not, let's use our brains here. The airline industry doesn't need this and if people are going to act like this I think they should face the stiffest penalties..Foreign or not..

SHIT lol I forgot Airline was on. Hmmm...

There's no news on it, at airwise, Fox5, google...nothing! Odd. I guess give it another 24 hours. If it was just some kid wanting to see the flight deck, what's that to say for us? One friggin moron (and for good measure, /drunk/foreign  Big grin) has to...ahh nevermind. It's not like nobody has complained about this before.  Insane

Yep tough love, If you want to see the cockpit do it while the plane is still at the gate. Once airborne behave yourself! People don't need anymore aggravation. Not to mention to be made late because some idiot was acting stupid and got the plane diverted..I am surprised someone on the plane didn't throw him a nice haymaker. Then he would learn. Big grin

I'd be happy to join in on the beating..

Also, you want to see the flight deck in-flight, 2 options. Become a Pilot for said airline or go to some 3rd world country where security is making sure your belt is on tight...

Even better, ask a skipper you know to ask the skipper of your flight beforehand...
