When Portugalia Will Replace Their Old Fokker 100?

Hii folks....

I was just wondering... when PGA - Portugalia Airlines, a portuguese small carrier replace their oldish Fokker 100? Will they replace it with Embraer ERJ-170, once that they already operate the ERJ-145?

What orders Portugalia as being put out for new aircraft?

Back in 2002 I was invited by Embraer to take part of the Embraer 170 European Demo Tour, and while in Lisbon I got the impression that Portugalia was very impressed with it, maybe it lacks the capacity to replace the Fokker 100 1x1, but for that you have the Embraer 190/195..

PS. On a side note, the correct name is Embraer 170 ou EMB-170.. There's no ERJ-170 as Embraer doesn't want to label it as a regional jet...

My guess is that PGA migth replace some of the old Fokkers by Airbus either 319 or 320.

Having an alliance with TAP it might be an opportunity in terms of negotiating better conditions to buy Airbus. Also, TAP maintenance is well recognized by Airbus Industries.

Overall I think they'll keep Embraer and replace some of the Fokkers by Airbus.

How old are they actually ?

No environmental issues (satge 3), quiet, fuel efficient ..

can do for another 15 yrs ?
