Unless I am mistaken, the only routes Emirates has from Abu Dhabi are Dubai, Beirut, and Amman. Are there any others?

Starting in the end of March the current 5x weekly DXB-AMM and 2x weekly DXB-AUH-AMM service is going to become a daily DXB-AMM service all on A330s.

The current 10x weekly DXB-BEY and 1x weekly DXB-AUH-BEY service is going to 11x weekly DXB-BEY service all on A330s.

Are there any other routes Emirates has from Abu Dhabi that I have forgotten?

Regards

I noticed the BEY was being discontinued. Makes no sense to continue these flights. Now that Etihad is offering three class service with three weekly flights to both BEY and AMM, EK is making the right move.

High time & it Makes a lot of sense, there was no reason for Ek to go to these two destinations via AUH concentrate on non stop from DXB ................

Mohan,

They have been running those flights for a long time. I flew EK DXB-AUH-BEY back in 98. They picked up a lot of pax in AUH.

Yegbey01,

Would you happen to know how many flights a week EK had on DXB-AUH-BEY back in 1998? Also how many DXB-BEY flights?

Thanks.

BA,

EK had 5 flights a week. Only one of them used to make a stop in AUH.
Two of the the return flights from BEY-DXB used to make a stop in LCA.

Equipment used to be mainly A310.

Interesting Yegbey01, thanks!

What a difference it is now. They have more than twice the flights now and on A330s.

Emirates now flies to LCA 5x weekly on A330-200s, the flights continue to ATH.

Do EK have any non-stop flights to ATH ?

toBEYwithMEA,

They do not have non-stop flights to ATH. All go through LCA.

They currently have BEY and AMM non-stop from AUH, but they are going to make these routes from DXB instead starting in late March, so no more Abu Dhabi service.
