BOS. VS flies them here during the Spring and Fall between dead Winter when the 343 is needed and Summer when it's a 744.

AlitaliaMD11,

China Eastern (MU) is NOT based in HKG. Please check your facts next time. They fly to LAX and SYD from some city in mainland China that skipped my mind for now. I believe at times they have also used the A346 to HKG from the mainland and some domestic mainland services.

AlitaliaMD11,

IB currently does not fly the A340-600 to CCS. Hence, I don't know if they have gotten the A340-600 in the first place.

On the other hand, the A340-600 flew for more than one week in the MAD-BOG run when traffic was high, like a month ago. Their supposed to come back in peak seasons again.

So, add BOG to the list.  Big thumbs up

I also ment to put for SA JNB-CDG.

Sorry that i have despleased you Airbus lover. I did not no that MU did not opperate of HKG. but they do fly those routes but maybe not out of HKG.

Can you give me a little break i mean i am only 14 and i am the only 14 year old in Dutchess County that know this much about Aviation.

CX have flown them into Auckland a few times as a substitute for the 343, although the 744 normally comes in when there is a change of aircraft, which isn't very often.

Lufthansa are to start using A340-600's on the Munich - Shanghai route from 28/3/2004 on certain flights. Going from 5xweekly to daily. A340-300 on the other days.

I don't think anyone has mentioned CPT yet.

SAA uses their A346s between JNB and CPT when they're not busy flying international routes.
