Hello Football Fans,

TAP (http://www.tap.pt) has presented their plane to promote Euro2004 around Europe. I was expecting something more "football related", more “flashy” but anyway the result wasn't that bad.

The catch phrase painted is the same one used by the Portuguese Tourism Office to suggest that tourists should stick around for more than just one’s team matches.

The plane was named after a famous Portuguese player from the 60’s, Eusébio, and it will be used in European destinations only (what else could you expect from an A319  Smile/happy/getting dizzy).

You can also use this link to get the latest pics of this plane: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?regsearch=CS-TTJ&distinct_entry=true.

BTW, is anyone thinking of coming here? Hope you have a ticket already  Wink/being sarcastic. It’s been crazy to get tickets. I live in one of the cities that will host Euro2004 and I didn’t get ANY ticket.  Angry

If Portugal gets to the quarters finals, I’ll be happy. There’s some stiff competition this year…

Bye,

PTKnight

Hi, the aircraft looks great! There was a recent thread about this though. Nice to see something different in the skies, and I hope to see it if I go to Portugal this year.

"Extra time is always the best part of the game"

That's the slogan to get turists to watch the EURO games and to visit the beauties of our country.

I expect Portugal to go all the way through the Final.

How about asking 1000 quids (yes, pounds, not euros) for the final? It's crazy...

We are talking about real football here. I believe you guys call it soccer. Is that because you think real football sucks?
Anyway Janet Jackson is always welcome.  Big grin

HUP HOLLAND!!! HUP!!! LAAT DE LEEUW NIET IN ZIJN HEMPIE STAAN!!!

At least I certainly hope 'we' don't have to take penalties. Big grin

I love both Airbus and Boeing as much as I love aviation!

Tell your boss to contact the English Soccer Federation, they might be accepting tickets reservations.

Football is the real name of this game, it's a ball played with foot, regarding Super Bowl game that's handball, headball, football, whatever.

Britman, tell me your flight number, maybe I can see what plane is scheduled for you.

Luis
