Orex Orbit Cargo Airlines Goes For B747-200F

Turkey-based Orex Orbit Express Airlines which has been operating a single A300B4 (TC-ORH) since June 2003 has leased an ex-Tradewinds A300B4-200F (TC-ORI) from US leasing company Windshear Leasing and will lease a second (TC-ORJ) for delivery in February after a “C” check by Turkish Airlines. The cargo airline is also said to be talking with Boeing Capital to lease two ex-Korean Air B747-200Fs for delivery in March/May 2004.

Orex will be the first airline in Turkey to operate a Jumbo.

speed news reported that 2 Korean air freighters HL7452 (Msn 22481) and HL7459 (Msn 22486) will be going to Orex. However HL7452 has gone to MK airlines as 9G-MKR and HL7459 is still in service with Korean. Does any body have an update?
