One of their planes took off about 2pm on Tuesday, I had no idea where it was going seeing their service started today, I would have had a decent pic but I dropped the ball by not having my camera at the ready. I saw that Virgin Atlantic bird too!
Good Luck to TED, maybe we have another LCC player in the market.

I was at the first DEN-FLL flight which was considered the inaugural flight for TED even though he had flown to/from LAS early this morning. There were way more people there than I expected. Sean Donohue, the VP of TED made a press speech, followed by Pete McDonald, VP of Operations. Every manager you could think of was there, along with many loyal and interested employees and customers. There were balloons, cookies, drinks, goodie bags, and lots of photography. I think I saw all of the major newspapers and TV stations there. Many of UA's PR people where there and some flew out to FLL for a smaller celebration there.
THE BEST PART.....there was a booth with demos of what the new IFE will be. They were all handheld video monitors ranging in size. They will be testing these in the coming weeks on the DEN-FLL flights. Good news! (Bad news for F9)
My favorite part was the band. Even as an employee, I was suprised to see that it was The Samples. They are a great band that I have followed since the mid-90s. Good tunes, lots of smiles and friendly people, and a totally full flight that pushed 4 minutes early.
I am looking forward to flying TED myself. I know there was a local 1K that was there that bought a ticket just to fly TED. He was our first customer to board.
