In anticipation of the opening of the brand new Chubu International airport south of Nagoya, both LH and GA announced the increase and resumption of flights out of NGO as of the summer 2004 schedule.

LH will increase their non-stop FRA service to five times weekly via A340-300, while GA will resume their thrice weekly A 330-200 non-stop flights to DPS from March 28.

It is indeed a welcome news for the new Chubu international airport as they try to aggressively promote the airport to international carriers.
